While sashimi weaving is known worldwide as a Japanese culture, in fact, in America, Native Americans and the Amish primarily produced sashimi for sale as rugs. The material is stiffer and denser than Japanese fabrics. The premium feel of this product comes from the fact that the original material was handmade in Europe and America, where various fabrics were ripped and rewoven to create patterns, resulting in fabrics of higher quality than Japanese ranru (rags).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAmish culture is known for treasuring antiques and passing on its traditions without change. The designer himself visited the area and spoke with the Amish, who passed down this precious fabric to him.
